Citation Management Tools:
Citation managers are software packages used to create personalized databases of citation information and notes. Visit the library's Citation Management Tools page.

Reference Management Software for Purchase:
Special UMN student pricing is available on reference management software such as Endnote, Procite, and Reference Manager at Government Connection or Unique Software & Computers (requires UMN ID and password for login and purchase). The Graduate School does not recommend or support any particular software.

Compare Reference Management Software:
Wikipedia offers opinions about free and fee-based reference management software. Thomson Reuters compares features of its three reference-management products, Endnote, Procite, and Reference Manager.
