Orientation & Resource Fair for new graduate and professional students
The Graduate School will hold two separate events to introduce new graduate and professional students to the University, the graduate community, and the broad range of resources and services available to support their success.
Tuesday, August 29, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Northrop
Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at McNamara Alumni Center
These events are open to all incoming graduate and professional students, and are intended to complement orientations provided by programs and colleges.
Orientation will begin with a welcome from the Vice Provost and Dean of Graduate Education. Following the welcome, students will have the opportunity to participate in breakout sessions on topics like professional development, working with an advisor, networking, health and wellbeing, and library resources.
