The University of Minnesota Distinguished Master’s Thesis Award for 2012 has been awarded to Cale Thomas Anger, a civil engineering student, for his thesis “Quantification of Triclosan, Chlorinated Triclosan Derivatives, and their Dioxin Photoproducts in Lacustrine Sediment Cores.”  He received his M.S. degree in September 2012 under the direction of Professor William Arnold.

In addition to receiving a $500 honorarium from the Graduate School, Anger will compete for the 2012 Distinguished Master’s Thesis Award of the Midwestern Association of Graduate Schools (MAGS).  Congratulations, Cale!
