You are invited to a series of free workshops designed for University of Minnesota researchers, including faculty, graduate students, post-docs and research associates, interested in learning more about commercializing their inventions.
Technology Commercialization Boot Camp
Thurs., June 16, 2016 | 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. | Keller Hall, Rm 3-111, Twin Cities Campus
This one-day immersion seminar introduces core concepts and resources for commercialization of research-driven innovations. It will draw from the Lean LaunchPad curriculum used by the National I-Corps, the NSF-funded education program to accelerate technology commercialization across U.S. universities. Value Proposition Design Workshops
June 23, 2016 – Aug 4, 2016 | 1 – 4 p.m. | Keller Hall, Rm 2-260, Twin Cities Campus
This series of four bi-weekly, half-day, hands-on workshops builds on the overview provided in the Technology Commercialization Boot Camp. Sessions focus on applying the Value Proposition Canvas and Customer Discovery methods to specific projects. External industry executives, as well as experts from the OTC, the U of M Libraries, and the Carlson School of Management will be available to help.
