SPH to house Interdisciplinary Research Leaders Program
The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation has selected the University of Minnesota School of Public Health as one of four institutions to serve as a National Leadership Program Center (NLPC).
The School of Public Health and its Division of Epidemiology and Community Health will house the NLPC for the Interdisciplinary Research Leaders Program (IRL). The initial three-month planning grant of up to $750,000 will establish the IRL, and RWJF anticipates that the U of MN also will be its leading grantee partner in administering the program over the longer term. The program will launch in September 2016 and will help enable the RWJF to support more leaders than ever before.
