Innovative Ideas in Graduate Education

The Graduate School is pleased to announce the outcome of its 2013-14 competition for innovative ideas in interdisciplinary graduate education.  Ideas were judged on the basis of their alignment with the Graduate School’s mission and vision; the likelihood of the idea to have a positive impact on graduate students and their education; the feasibility of sustaining the innovation beyond the implementation year; and the scope of the proposed innovation and the potential for its adoption by others seeking to enhance interdisciplinary graduate education.  Five best innovative ideas were selected to receive modest awards, and two proposals received honorable mention.  Read about the best innovative ideas.  For more information about this year's competition, see the call for proposals
