Eva O. Miller Fellowship for 2018-19

For graduate students in the broad areas of psychology or statistics and measurement. Research projects may include, but are not limited to, the study of individual differences and cognitive aspects of measurement. $25,000 for the academic year, plus tuition and subsidized health insurance. Up to two awards.
Students must be registered in a Ph.D. program at the University of Minnesota at the time of application. Students are ineligible for a second award.
Category 1: For doctoral students in the early stages of their graduate career. To be competitive, students must have completed at least one year of graduate studies at the time of application.
Category 2: For doctoral students who are in the intermediate or advanced phase of their program at the time of application, usually in their third year or later.
The review and selection will be conducted by University of Minnesota faculty, which will select the awardees based on the following criteria:
- the strength of the academic record and the overall professional promise,
- the cohesiveness and significance of the study or research plan,
- the timeliness of progress toward the degree, and
- the strength of the letters of recommendation.
Applicants will be notified, in writing, by the end of February.
