RECOMMENDATION

Expect at least an 80% average (undergraduate scale).  Special note may also be taken of the grades in the most relevant courses. Highly competitive fields may expect averages of 85. 

On the A-F scale, expect a 3.25-3.5 average.

Equivalent to US Bachelor’s:

Bachelor's degree - comparable to a bachelor's degree in the United States.

5-year Junior Colleges- Students are admitted after finishing ninth grade. The first three years of the program are at senior vocational school level. Reviewers should consider and evaluate work taken in the fourth and fifth years of the program.   Not comparable to U.S. Bachelor’s degree, must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree for admission consideration.

Equivalent to US Master’s:

Master's Degree - comparable to a master's degree in the United States.

Professional qualifications:

Doctor of Medicine / Doctor of Dental Surgery - comparable to a first professional degree in medicine or dental surgery in the United States.
