OTHER INFORMATION:

From 1988-2000 Universities were open sporadically, totaling only a few years.  Semesters were shortened to 1-2 months, and bachelor’s degrees were awarded in as little as 1 year.  Bribes and cheating were common.  Since 2000, semesters were lengthened to 4 months.
