OTHER INFORMATION

Japanese students study hard at the elementary and secondary school levels in preparation for entrance examinations.  Gaining admission to a prestigious university is difficult.  Once admitted, students move easily through the first three years of the undergraduate program and spend some of the final year job hunting.
