Support Interdisciplinary Programs
Solving real world challenges requires flexible and interdisciplinary minds which can keep pace with ever changing ideas and revolutionary technologies. Interdisciplinary based graduate programs are critical to solving these real world challenges.
The University under President Bruinicks’ leadership has implemented a strategy for building and enhancing a culture of interdisciplinary research and education across the University. If the University of Minnesota is to lead in solving the challenges of the 21st Century, the University will need to develop a stronger culture of collaboration across the established disciplines to solve complex problems that benefit from diverse fields of expertise.
The University of Minnesota is capitalizing on its current breadth of disciplines and depth of scholarly expertise by convening faculty across the disciplines to develop new areas of knowledge and to find solutions to some of the world’s most intractable problems. The Graduate School plays a critical role in convening faculty in emerging fields and preparing graduate students to exercise the new skills and competencies required in the 21st Century.
Your support of Interdisciplinary Programs transforms the way The University of Minnesota thinks about graduate education and ensures that The University of Minnesota attracts the best and brightest graduate students. Learn more about Interdisciplinary Programs at The University of Minnesota.
