Deadlines
Applicants are encouraged to apply for admission well in advance
of the term in which they wish to enter the Graduate School (but no more
than one year in advance of the proposed entry date).
**IMPORTANT**
Programs or departments
may have deadlines which are significantly earlier than those of the Graduate School.
For example, a large number of program/department deadline dates are in December or January. Applicants who submit after their program/department deadline may NOT be considered for admission.

In addition to your program/department deadline dates, the final Graduate School application deadline dates are as follows:

Deadlines that occur on a holiday or weekend will be extended
through the next regular workday.
You should submit the complete application
for admission to the Graduate School at least six weeks before the department deadline.
Some programs do not consider applications during the spring or summer.
