Twin Cities, Duluth, and Rochester campus information
In the University of Minnesota system, there are three campuses where students can pursue graduate level coursework.
Twin Cities Campus
The University of Minnesota - Twin Cities (UMTC) campus spans Minnesota’s two largest cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. Currently almost 11,000 graduate students attend the Twin Cities campus which offers over 132 graduate programs at the Masters and Doctoral level. Read more…
Duluth Campus
The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) campus is located 150 miles from the University’s “flagship” Twin Cities campus (approximately two-and-a-half hours by car). Nearly 600 graduate students are based at UMD, in fields from across the natural, social and applied sciences, arts and humanities, and professions such as Social Work and Education. UMD offers primarily Masters degrees but a Doctor of Education degree is also offered, as well as a small number of PhD degrees through all-University and cooperative programs involving the Twin Cities campus. Rochester Campus
The University of Minnesota - Rochester (UMR) is the newest campus of the University of Minnesota system having been formally established in December 2006. UMR graduate programs involve either the Twin Cities or Duluth campus in the areas of health sciences, biotechnology, business, education, graphic design, public health, and social work. Read more…
