The Graduate School’s Writer’s Nexus

This tool is a means of connecting our graduate students and faculty to resources and support for their thesis and dissertation writing. The Graduate School Writer’s Nexus is part of The Graduate School Writing Initiative. This site provides information for:

  • Writing & Research Support: Resources that will help graduate students navigate different types of papers they may be expected to write. This site also provides information related to the writing and editing process, Internal Review Board, and how to address academic problems.
  • Funding for Research: Information for graduate students who want to learn how to apply for funding and travel grants.
  • Support for Non-Native-English-Speaking Students: Writing and editing support specifically for Non-Native-English-speaking graduate students.
  • Information for Faculty: Resources for faculty seeking information related to advising and mentoring graduate students, working with Non-Native-English-speaking graduate students, and collaborating with writing centers.
