Research Opportunities at the University of Minnesota
The
University of Minnesota offers research opportunities to undergraduate
students in various disciplines. During the 2008-09
school year, the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP)
welcomed over 450 University of Minnesota undergraduate students
who worked on research with faculty. In Summer 2009, over
200 undergraduate students participated in University campus-wide
summer research programs. The students represented institutions
and colleges from across the nation including Puerto Rico and The
U.S. Virgin Islands.
