Andrew W. Mellon Fellowship in Humanistic Studies

The Andrew W. Mellon Fellowships in Humanistic Studies are designed to support exceptionally promising students as they pursue advanced study in the disciplines of the humanities.  Interested applicants must submit a request for application through the internet at www.woodrow.org/mellon (mellon@woodrow.org; 800.899.9963). 

Ford Foundation Predoctoral Fellowship

Ford Fellowships are awarded to individuals who show promise for future achievement as scholars, researchers, and teachers in institutions of higher education. Application deadline is early November. Graduate Education for Minorities Fellowship

GEM provides fellowships for master's students in engineering and Ph.D. students in engineering and the natural sciences. An annual stipend, tuition, and fees are provided. The application deadline is early December.

National Science Foundation Minority Graduate Fellowship

NSF awards fellowships to full-time students in the early stages of graduate study in science and engineering. An annual stipend, tuition, and fees are provided for three years. The application deadline is early November. Contact the Fellowship Office, National Research Council, 2101 Constitution Ave., Washington, D.C. 20418.
