Network of Interdisciplinary Initiatives Assemblies

The Network of Interdisciplinary Initiatives (NII) is a newly formed network of participants and leaders in interdisciplinary research, creative work, education and training initiatives at the University of Minnesota.  The Network, organized under the auspices of the Office of Interdisciplinary Initiatives (OII), is charged with assessing the challenges to, and opportunities for, collaboration across disciplinary boundaries, and identifying key policy changes and best practices for advancing interdisciplinary inquiry.  More than 200 faculty and staff at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and Duluth campuses have joined the NII.
