Graduate School hosts prospective grad students for summer research
This summer, more than 200 undergraduate students from colleges across the nation, including Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, are attending summer research programs at the University. New assistant director of Graduate School admissions is named
Jim Rowan has been named new assistant director of admissions on the Graduate School, effective August 18. With more than 20 years of distinguished service in the University's Office of Undergraduate Admissions, Rowan brings a wealth of knowledge about both domestic and international student admissions to his new role. Pulitzer Prize winner N. Scott Momaday to give 2008 Ford Lecture Oct. 21
N. Scott Momaday, the first Native American to win the Pulitzer Prize for his 1968 novel House Made of Dawn, will present the Graduate School's 2008 Guy Stanton Ford Lecture, Oct. 21, 12:15 p.m., Ted Mann Concert Hall, Twin Cities campus, West Bank. The lecture will be free and open to the public. Read more.
