Program/Agency Statement The purpose of the Foundation is to advance the science of chemistry, chemical engineering and related sciences as a means of improving human relations and circumstances around the world. These programs were established to strengthen the teaching and research careers of talented young faculty in the chemical sciences. The Camille award focuses primarily on individual research accomplishments and promise, but evidence in teaching is also expected.

Allowable Expenses Unrestricted research grant to be used for support of the Teacher-Scholar's professional advancement. Funds may be used for any research-or curriculum-related purpose deemed appropriate for the Teacher-Scholar's professional activities, except defrayal of PI's academic-year salary. $7,500 of the award is allocated to the Teacher-Scholar's department for expenses associated with research and education.

Eligibility Requirements Institutions must grant a bachelor's or higher degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or biochemistry. Nominees must hold a full-time tenure-track academic appointment and normally are expected to be within the first five years of their academic careers.
