Director of Graduate Studies Handbook

Thesis Research Grants

Grants of up to $2,500 are available to support thesis research, such as domestic travel and expenses for fieldwork, postage, and photocopying; grants of $5,000 are available to conduct research abroad for six weeks to six months.  Competitions are held twice a year, with deadlines of October 1 and March 1.
