Graduate School Fellowships Office

With the advice and assistance of faculty fellowship committees, the Graduate School Fellowship Office (314 Johnston Hall, 612-625‑7579) administers the programs for Graduate School Fellowships, Doctoral Dissertation Fellowships, Thesis Research Grants, Endowed Fellowships, and programs for graduate study/research abroad, including Fulbright, Luce, and DAAD.  In addition, the Fellowship Office makes direct allocations of discretionary fellowship funds to graduate programs in the form of block grants; it administers the National Science Foundation Fellowship Program.  For more information on graduate fellowships visit
