Systems and Data Management Office

The Graduate School maintains data unique to graduate students, programs, and faculty for reporting purposes.  From this data, the Graduate School Systems and Data Management Office periodically (typically every semester, within two weeks after registration closes) prints and distributes a set of paper reports.  The reports are sent to the Directors of Graduate Studies.

Several reports are made available electronically from the UM Reports Web site (www.umreports.umn.edu), some exclusively for Graduate School programs, and many others that are useful for graduate students as well as undergrads. 

Some aggregate statistics about graduate programs are available on the Graduate School’s Web site (see www.grad.umn.edu/data/stats/).  Graduate School data is also available for ad hoc reporting from the University’s data warehouse (see dw.umn.edu).
