Graduate School Registration Timetable and Deadline Information

The Graduate School strictly enforces cancel/add deadlines. Exceptions to the University-wide policies governing registration deadlines must be requested in writing; such requests are not routinely granted.

Fall Semester 2004 Registration Deadlines

April 8, 2004
Registration for Fall Semester 2004 opens.

September 6, 2004
Last day to register for Fall Semester without incurring late enrollment fees.

Last day to cancel courses for 100% refund

September 7, 2004
Fall Semester classes begin.

September 20, 2004
Last day to register, add a class or change a grade base.
Last day to cancel a course without a "W" appearing on your transcript.

November 1, 2004
Last day to cancel a course without college approval. A "W" will appear on your transcript.

November 9, 2004
Registration begins for Spring Semester 2005.

December 15, 2004
Last day of instruction for Fall Semester.

December 16-18, 20-22, 2004
Final Examinations.

*October 1st is the last day to apply for participation in the Graduate School's Fall Commencement Ceremony which will be held Friday, December 10, 2004 at 1:00 pm in Northrop Auditorium.

Spring Semester 2005 Registration Deadlines

November 9, 2004
Registration for Spring Semester 2005 opens.

January 17, 2005
Last day to register for Spring Semester without incurring late enrollment fees.

January 18, 2005
Spring Semester classes begin.

January 25, 2005

Last day to cancel spring semester courses and receive a 100% refund.

January 31, 2005
Last day to register, add a class or change a grade base.
Last day to cancel a course without a "W" appearing on your transcript.

March 14, 2005
Last day to cancel a course without college approval. A "W" will appear on your transcript.

April 5, 2005
Registration begins for May Session and Summer Session 2005 for admitted students

April 7, 2005

Registration begins for Fall 2005.

April 12, 2005

Registration begins for May Session and Summer Session 2005 for nonadmitted students.

May 6, 2005
Last day of instruction for Spring Semester.

May 10-14, 2005
Final Examinations.
