A. What are the responsibilities of my adviser/co-adviser?

• For policy regarding the responsibilities of advisor/co-advisor, please refer to the Graduate School Constitution Article III No. 5.

B. How do I change my committee members once they have been approved by the Graduate School?

• To change an examining committee member, you must have either your Adviser or the Director of Graduate Studies in your major field send an e-mail to the Graduate School's Student Services office at gscmte@umn.edu in advance of the examination.
