There is no charge to University of Minnesota faculty and staff for using the system. SPIN requires users to have a University of Minnesota IP address. Therefore, SPIN can easily be accessed from campus computer systems; however, VPN must be installed and run on remote systems to gain access. Information on VPN, its installation and use, and software downloads can be found at http://www1.umn.edu/adcs/network/vpnoverview.html.
