Change of Status/Readmission Applicants:
All students who have been admitted and registered in the U of M Graduate School and are seeking readmission, or a change of major, degree objective, track (including dropping a track), or campus, must submit a readmission/change of status application. This includes students who may have already completed a degree at the U of M. More information about the application process is available here. If you are requesting readmission to obtain active status for graduating, you should first contact the Office of Graduate Student Services and Progress.
You should NOT apply online if you:
....do not have a U of M student ID (Empl ID)
....are going to change from a program "General Status" to a "Track" for the first time.
....are changing from the doctorate to the masters level within the same program/department.
....are applying for professional development coursework only.
If you fall under any of these categories, you should instead file a paper application. Click here to download the form.
